Kidcentral Analytics & Internal Platform is a suite of secure internal tools built to give managers and teams direct visibility into operational data — and to eliminate the vendor dependency that was slowing down every workflow change.
The project started as an analytics dashboard and expanded to cover a broader set of internal operational tooling. The shared objective across both was the same: move faster, stay in control, and stop paying for outsourced integrations that took months to change.
What the platform includes:
- Role-based access control so each user sees only the data relevant to their responsibilities
- Responsive dashboards and tables for exploring sales, inventory, and operational metrics
- Secure access to ERP and business data without depending on vendor timelines
- Internal tools that replaced slow, vendor-dependent e-commerce workflows
- A Python/FastAPI backend paired with a React frontend for speed of iteration
- PocketBase authentication to keep access control simple and enforceable
- A backend layer that serves pre-processed analytics data instead of pushing raw system complexity into the UI
The biggest outcome was delivery speed. New internal workflows moved from idea to deployment in days instead of months, which materially changed how the business could respond to operational needs. Vendor costs were eliminated for workflows now owned entirely in-house.
This project reflects internal platform thinking: reducing reporting friction, improving visibility for decision-makers, and turning operational data into something teams can actually use.
